Draghi to deliver
The most important point about today's ECB meeting is not that the recent data shows stagnant growth and little inflation; that Germany is stumbling; that there might be subtle hints of future stimulus. No. It's that it's Mario Draghi's third-to-last meeting in charge. Just two more meetings after this one and then he's gone, with a legacy to protect and he's very close to failing to deliver.
