– China inflation saw CPI 2.8% vs expected 2.6%, factory gate prices plunged however as PPI was -0.8% although this was anticipated
– Trump says “China wants to talk” as Mnuchin says “currency and currency manipulation” will be focus in trade talks this time
– Boris Johnson loses his election bid but reiterates he will not ask for an extension and is told by MPs this is contravention of HoC’s latest bill, parliament is now suspended and will return October 14th
– Australia business confidence declined as NAB’s index of business conditions and business confidence fell
– Apple new iPhone launched, with 900m iPhones globally 180m are expected to be upgraded to the new one over the coming 12 months
– Google faces new investigation launched by 50 attorney generals from the 52 states and territories
– Nissan boss steps down and shares rise

US equities end more-or-less flat with Asian equity markets mixed. Treasuries and bunds sold off ahead of the ECB Thursday and Fed next week
