– China exports -0.9% and imports -6.4%, beating forecasts of -3.9% and -8.9%
– Moody’s lowered India’s rating outlook due to growth concerns
– Michael Bloomberg prepares to enter the Democratic presidential race
– Disney saw results down on last year but beat forecasts, its move into streaming in expensive, total costs rose 50% in the quarter from a year ago

Wall Street’s three main equity indexes closed at record highs, while Asian equity markets were much more mixed
We get positive stories, then negative stories on trade in equal measure it seems. It was only yesterday there was “fierce” internal opposition to lowering tariffs. The deal is far from signed considering we don’t have a confirmed date or place and new tariffs are scheduled to start December 15th
