Spain – New Government (Finally)

++ Spain will now enter a honeymoon period as a new government has finally been formed and enacts its least controversial policy objectives. Longer-term, Sanchez faces the challenge of pleasing seven parties with a two-seat majority, not to mention the separatists who will expect recompense for paving his path to power. But he has TINA on his side. There Is No Alternative government that can be formed from the current constellation, meaning a constructive No Confidence vote can't be passed. The separatists would gain little if they let the right-wing unionist parties take over . . .
